I've had one of the primary's song stuck in my head all week, since the primary sang it to me on Sunday. Well, once again I had another awesome birthday (March 30th). I think this is the first birthday I actually feel semi old. This was confirmed when one of my sisters asked me how old I was, when I replied 25, she said, "DANG, your old!" Ha ha! Once upon a time, probably when I was 19, 20 I remember thinking 25 was old. But now that I am 25 I feel as young as ever! As I look back at all the birthday celebrations it mostly revolved around the food. Food really does bring people together:)! My big birthday gift that I got from Derek is a tent (which I picked out). I can't wait to use it. Anyone up for some camping?
Sunday night the day before my actual birthday Derek made me cherry cheesecake...YUM!!!
Usually Derek goes running before I do, and then he gets home I rush out the door. The night before he wanted to hang up the birthday banner but I said no because we didn't have any string. When I came in from my run I was surprised to see the banner hanging up, and a big breakfast made (since I know we didn't have all that food). Well, instead of going on a run he went to the store. What a guy! For lunch my visiting teachers did a lunch party. They decorated and even had party favors. Awesome idea!
I never thought going out to eat before I had a kid was that exciting, oh how times have changed! Now I love going out to eat, not having to cook for a night, and just enjoying the meal. What a treat. We went to this steak house called Carsons. Since it was my birthday we got 50% off our ticket and a free dessert...a sweet deal.
My friends took Shana and I to the "Chocolate House" to celebrate our birthdays. Chocolate and girl friends always makes for a fun night.
Thanks everyone for the phone calls, cards, birthday messages! I really do have the greatest family and friends. That's one of the things I look forward most about my birthday is being able to talk to my family and friends.

It looks like everything turned out great for your b-day! Again, I love that banner! I wish I could've been there to help celebrate. I was just telling momma yesterday how you used to make me pancakes, ice cream and blueberries for my b-day breakfast! I loved it! oh p.s. I love going out to eat too, I think we've only gotten to go out once w/o Cade since he was born though.
What a sweet husband. That cheesecake looked delightful! Glad you had a good one!
Happiest Birthday wishes again! I'm so glad that you had a fabulous birthday. Props to Derek for making you breakfast and a cherry cheesecake. Good man. I just saw your previous post and I can't believe that Brooklynn is walking! Crazy. We still miss you guys so much.

Happy Birthday girl! Sorry it's so late. It looks like you had an awesome day. Brooklyn is growing up so fast and so is Hattie. Oh life is so great with these little ones isn't it. Let us know when you are heading to Utah this summer. Miss you girl!
