The last couple of weeks Brooklynn has been growing and changing a lot. We used to think that she looked just like Derek but we're starting to have our doubts. Luckily we have a picture of all three of us in a dress so we can have an even comparison, what do you guys think?
One day Derek's mom left him with a babysitter for a couple of hours. When she got back her friend mentioned that she took some cute pictures of Derek and this was the result (doesn't he make a cute girl).
I'm not really sure how old I am in this picture but I think that I'm a few months younger than Brooklynn is now.

Oh my gosh. Derik looked just like a little girl. I was for sure it was probably a picture of you or something. Poor little guy. Hmm...maybe I should start dressing Cade up in a little dress, I'm sure cam would love that. I think shes a good mix of you two now.
I think she looks like a perfect mix! A little bit of both. Either way, she is dang cute! That's so funny derek got dressed in a dress! Love it! haha.

I check your blog pretty often so I was so happy to see the update! I think that no little boy gets through life without some female dressing him up in drag! Babysitter, mother, sister, wife . . . it's bound to happen. Tell Derek not to fret . . . it's happened to all of them at one time or another! What a cute collection of pictures. I've always remembered you as being a darling baby. Looks like Derek was a cute baby too . . . Brooklyn couldn't help but being a little doll.
haha.. Don't worry Derek, I think this happens a lot actually. When Drew was 3 his older sister wanted a baby sister so bad and ended up dressing Drew up in a blue tutu. It's so cute!
I think she looks like you with Derek's hair. We miss you guys!
Great picture Derek! Chris used to dress Mike up in a polyester Raggedy Ann outfit when he was little.....guess it runs in the family!
I have to say I vote that she looks like you Janel. Not to say that Derek is one cute little boy in a dress, but you just look like little Brooklyn to me. She is just adorable...just like her mommy.:)
I don't even want to know why that babysitter thought she could dress him like a girl haha. But he does look pretty cute. I'm going to have to say that Brooklynn looks like Derek more...
