This week Derek had a couple days off for fall break. We were lucky enough to have his parents come visit. Brooklynn warmed right up to her Oma & Opa and I think she even misses them. They were hoping they could see her crawl, but they barely missed it. When I came home from dropping them off at the airport I put Brooklynn on the ground and go figures she started to crawl. Thank goodness for web cams. While they were here we tried to show them a little bit of the mid west way of life.
We started off by taking them to the world famous deli Zingerman's. The food lived up to its reputation and we took advantage of the many samples.
Of course we had to take a trip to the cider mill and eat some donuts and apple cider. What could be more mid western? Last time we went to the cider mill Brooklynn didn't even notice the animals but this time eyes lit up when she saw the baby goats.

When Karen and Kevin made their plans to come visit us we knew that they would want to see Terry, the Osborne's neighbor in California, who recently transfered to Michigan. What we didn't know, was that he would be able to get us sweet tickets to the Detroit Pistons game. The tickets were on row six and gave us access to an all you can eat buffet during the game. We loved the game and hope that he'll be able to round up tickets for the future.
Derek's parents brought their nice camera. I love how fast it takes the picture, and it actually catches what I want it to. So I had fun taking lot's of pictures of our little B. Here are some of my favorites:
Brooklynn loves to be naked, and she absolutely loves books. So what more could this baby ask for being naked and playing with a book at the same time ...what a life!
As you can see we had a great time! It was so nice to have them come see where we live and spend time with them. Anyone else want to come visit? Our door is always open...come on...who wouldn't want to come visit?!?!?
