Last week Brooklynn turned 4 months old, and today was her four month check up. I love her pediatrician she was so willing to answer all my questions, and she didn't seemed rushed at all. Brooklynn weighed 12 lbs. (25th percentile) and 25 inches long (75th percentile). She's a long skinny girl. Here are some things about our beautiful little girl.
Things she can do:
roll from front to back or back to front (but still a work in progress)
grabs toys and put them in her mouth
entertain herself
stand with support
grab her toes
Things she can't do:
sleep through the night
smile at the camera
sit up but she can spit up
eat solid foods (but we are going to try it out this week)
Things she loves:
taking baths
to be talked to
to be sang to
going outside
walks & runs in the stroller
pull mom's hair (ouch)
check her cute self out in the mirror
putting toys (actually, anything) in her mouth
kisses on her cheek
riding on the bus
being left on stomach for to long
the aspirator (despises)
riding in car seat (although the last couple of weeks have been much better)
nap time during church
drying off after bath time

Yeah...more adorable pictures. Dang--she is so cute. I want to see her in person. You guys are a very cute family (I always knew you'd make a great wife and mother one day!) How do you like the bumbo, by the way? I had one in my cart today at Target and then at the last minute put it back on the shelf. I WANT one for Zach so bad, but decided against it at the last minute. Maybe I'll go back and get it tomorrow! You guys look so happy. Hope she starts sleeping better for you soon!
Wow Janel, your baby is getting so cute. Owen, Bonny's baby, loved the bumbo too. I can't believe she is already 4 mths old. You look great by the way!
Omigosh, i should just copy and paste your post onto my blog. for real- Alexis is exactly the same. The love and hate list is identical to Alexis'. So funny. I laughed through it because i can totally relate.

She is so adorable! I think I've said that every time I comment! in the one picture it looks like her flower is part of the vase of flowers.
Look at those BIG blue eyes! So pretty. And Sydney hated her car seat too...for the first year or so...it was nuts!
